The Reality of God In Jesus Christ

The passion of my heart is to know God in Jesus Christ. Not to just know about the bible or to know facts about God in Jesus, but to know HIM personally, truly and something that deeply effects everything in my life. Since God is a real person (albeit on a completely different level from all other beings) we can know him in a personal way. I can only know him in the face or person of Jesus Christ. Apart from Jesus I am sinful, wicked and separated from God. But through Jesus Christ I am in perfect oneness and harmony with God.

My soul is desperate to know him more, to know the reality of his being, his purpose in the world and in my life. I do not want anything false, half real, half truth, but the reality that God has for me to enter into NOW, present tense. I want my heart to beat with his, my soul to be knitted to his, my mind to be in union with his. I don’t want to seek my own purpose, have my own agenda, but to be about my Father’s business.

I would rather die than not know God in a reality. I would rather know Him and be loved by Him than any other thing in this life. Without Him life is depressing and meaningless. With Him life takes on new meaning. Relationships take on real meaning, friendships take on real meaning, work takes on real meaning, everything is NEW in Him. This is how I want to know God and this is how I pray that you know Him.

William Branham made this beautiful statement, “So now we are invited into Him, to be partakers of all that He is. We’re invited into Him, which is hid to unbelievers, by the veil of human flesh. See? They know that Glory, they read of It, It’s in the Word here, “the Glory of God” and things like that, it’s just a word to them. To us, it’s a manifestation! See? It is no more a word; it’s a reality! Amen!”

Do I know Him like this? Yes, in part, but I want to know Him in the fullness of all that He is. Through Jesus Christ he has disclosed ALL of himself to us if we come to Him this way. We are invited to be partakers of all that he is, to experience his glory not in word only, but in true reality, manifestation and delight.

    If anyone feel as something is not sufficient to fulfill their expectation, a thrust will develop in their heart. We ask ourselves the following question. Is bible enough for me? If bible is enough for me, no more searches are need for find out god. We are walking by faith, not by vision.

    Mohamed, founder of Islam, not satisfied with bible, he feels that bible is not sufficient for him. Satan fulfilled his thrust by appeared as Gabriel, angle of god and gave Koran. (Please read history of Mohamed).If we do not believe the bible, god will allow the Satan to fulfill our thrust by believe a lie. It may be in the form of angle of god.

    Thessalonians 2:11
    11And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
    12That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

    We are instructed to believe the bible and search the bible to get eternal life. According the bible life is our lord Jesus Christ. (St. John 14:6)

    Yes, that is precisely correct. When writing this article I am not writing it from the perspective of someone who does not believe in the supremacy of Scripture. I write it from the perspective that it is not enough to merely know what is in the Bible as a scholar. You must know personally the Author of the Book. What we know about God is discovered and revealed in the Bible. It is the final authority in all things, but just to know about it is not the point. It is to know HIM personally.

    We are trying to know the god using our physical senses. If we believe the word of god, we can see him, we can hear him, and we can taste him.
    Are you thinking all bible scholars did not know the god?
    2 Peter 3:16
    As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
    Acts 17:11
    These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
    We are instructed by our lord to search the scriptures. We are never instructed to know the god. We instructed to believe the god.
    My concern is “don’t separate bible from its author because Bible and its author are one. Knowing the author is believes the bible.

    Certainly, people are able to know the bible and not be saved. John 17:3, “And this is life eternal that they might know thee the only true God and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.” Eternal life is not knowing facts in a book, but knowing the Author of the Book. How do you know the Author of the Book? Two ways, one by his Spirit being in you and two by knowing the Book. For the Book is an expression of Him. It reveals Him. It’s the only infallible means of knowing him, but just knowing the Book by itself is not enough. You must KNOW HIM personally.
    It’s important to have the proper balance in these things. Certainly, there are some who go off into sensations and false doctrine. There are others who go into seminary knowledge but know nothing of salvation and the reality of Jesus Christ.

    How do you know the people who are not saved? Is it our Business? Even Our lord doesn’t want to tell about John to Peter.
    “ Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.” (John 21:21)

    We cannot judge those who are didn’t believe our doctrine. We have limitation to know every thing. This limitation is set by god. We cannot go behind God’s limitation. We are instructed to Believe and obey the Word of God. If we want to know the God, First we must believe and obey the word of god. Then god revel him if God have desire.

    “He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him”. (John 14:21)

    So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. (Romans 9:16)

    We must control our desire for know everything. But we are flying to know everything that is big problem today and other side prophecy of Daniel is silently fulfilling.

    “But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased”. (Daniel 12:4).

    That is why St.Paul told us “And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another. (1 Cor 4:6)

    We must control our desire to know things as David

    “ Lord, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child”.(Psalm 131:1,2)
    Final Conclusion is “Way of know the god is Believe and obey the word of god (Bible)”.

    St.John 17th Chapter is a prayer of Jesus Christ. In verses 3rd, he told as “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. “(John 17:3)
    How do you know the GOD? There is only one way, believing his word. Apostles knew the Jesus by believed him. Because they didn’t read the bible every day, but 3 and ½ years they walked with Jesus Christ. Everyday Jesus preached to his disciples and they believed his word. Now read 8th word of same chapter. “For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me. (John 17:8). Jesus already told to his disciples as I came from God, The father. We can see this in pervious chapter. They believed his word.
    When Jesus appeared before his disciples after resurrection, Thomas was not there. After that disciples told this to Thomas. But Thomas wants his personal witness by see him. Jesus never encouraged this kind of thought.
    “Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.” (John 20:29)
    After long research Ecclesiastes told that “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man”. (Ecclesiastes 12:13).
    Know the god means believe the Word of God. Everything in the bible, if we want know the god, just read bible and believe that. If we believe the bible, we also obey the bible.
    For examples:
    Sell that ye have, and give alms… (Luke 12:33). How many now ready to do this? If we believe this word, we also obey for this. But, what are our ministers doing now? They are begging in his website as donation. Even they are not ready to obey this single word, then how they will know god personally. How many ministries like to be St. Paul. Behold, the third time I am ready to come to you; and I will not be burdensome to you: for I seek not yours but you: for the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children. (2 Corinthians 12:14)
