Godhead

Brother William Branham is often charged with teaching the Jesus only doctrine or else charged with inconsistency over what he taught. I have a degree in philosophy and have studied the early church fathers’ extensively. Brother Branham taught with wisdom beyond his seventh-grade education. His teachings are extremely similar to that of the apologists of the early church including Irenaeus, Hippolytus, Tertullian and Justin Martyr. In studying the early church fathers’ they certainly, as do we, believe in the Father, Son, and Spirit, but there is no clear consensus on a Trinity that encompasses three coequal and co-eternal persons existing in fellowship with each other for eternity. Our studies are intended to represent what Brother Branham taught as accurately as possible, but we refer all of our readers to go back to what he taught for yourself, listen to and read his sermons for yourself.

  • I Am Not A Oneness

This is a compilation of quotes and Scriptures showing Brother Branham’s teaching and why it was not Oneness. This is not intended to see the whole picture of the doctrine, but to see the places where Brother Branham did emphasize the distinction between Father and Son. “53. They couldn’t understand Him. He was a Mystery,…

  • Why Does Jesus Deliver the Kingdom to the Father?

In 1 Corinthians 15:24 we read that the Son will deliver the kingdom to God, the Father. This is a curious verse because it seems that one person is delivering the kingdom up to another person. Secondly, it seems to be saying that the Son, at some point, was not subject but then will be.…

  • Why Does God Say “Let Us” in Genesis 1:26?

“26 And God said, ‘Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.’ 27 So God created…

  • Rightly Dividing the Deity and Humanity of Christ

This subject is a very thorny issue to delve into that people feel very strongly about. Unfortunately, many ministers and believers take one quote or one scripture and they go to seed on it, ignoring or explaining away every other quote. My point here is not to try to go into every detail on the…

  • Why the Trinity of Persons is False

We go through the very basic reason why the Trinity is false, based upon the historical development of it during church history.

  • The Virgin Birth

  • The Blood of God

The Blood of God? In this video, recorded in Laodicea, Turkey, I discuss the Scripture in Acts 20:28 and show why Jesus is the spotless lamb, without blemish. The question I have received is, if Jesus is the spotless blood of God, then how could he have been fed by Mary.

  • The Logos of John 1:1

In the beginning was the Word… – John 1:1 John 1:1  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The Word in Greek is Logos and it means a thought expressed. The Strong’s Concordance states that Logos means, “…something said (including the thought); by implication a topic…

  • Father and Son: Same Person and Individual Different

We received this question in our comments on the article entitled Oneness View vs. Biblical View of the Godhead. Dear Brother Jason, The last quote really caught my attention. How do you reconcile this with where he says “he was the self-same person”? I have always wondered. Brother, this is a great question that you…
